Updates on Updates
Hey everyone! I wanted to take a moment to explain how I'll be keeping you in the loop about what's happening behind the scenes at Kharlemagne. Let's update you about updates - meta, I know.
How Updates Will Work
Here's the thing about being eclectic - sometimes you need to put certain projects on simmer while others come to a boil. I'll be posting updates whenever there's a significant shift in my focus, rather than sticking to a rigid schedule. This way, you'll always know what's cooking and why some sections might be quieter than others.
Current Focus (December 2024)
Right now, I'm diving into a few specific areas:
- Curation Projects
I'm gathering materials and setting up several curation posts for scheduling. The goal is to get at least two solid pieces out before shifting gears. - Story Time
Both my original fiction and fanfiction works are getting some attention. These have been sitting in my drafts long enough, and it's time to let them see the light of day. - On the Back Burner
The critics section is temporarily simmering down. I've got some graphic design elements I want to nail down before launching this section properly. It's coming - just needs some visual polish first.
The Pace of Things
Let's be real - the content flow won't be breaking any speed records. I'm focused on getting things right rather than getting them fast. Each section will move at its own pace, and that's okay. The goal isn't to flood the site with content but to share things that are worth your time.
Going Forward
I'll evaluate my focus regularly and post updates when things shift significantly. No artificial schedules, no forced consistency - just honest communication about where my creative energy is flowing at any given time.
